The
Celtic Spirit Pipe and Drum Band is an upcoming force in the celtic
music community of Buffalo and Western New York. The band is composed of 26 members, who together
have over 200 years of performance experience. The band was drawn
together in 1999 and quickly matured into an ensemble that presents
a wide range of piping music. Traditional tunes are accompanied by
lively sets with instumentals, which add a new dimension to our pipe
& drum concerts. I hope you find us entertaining and don't forget
to clap.
In the winter of 2001/2002 the band recorded their first full length
CD “Celtic Spirit”,
and by the summer of 2002 the CD was released. In the winter of 2004/2005
the second CD was recorded. On May 13, 2005, after a concert performance
on stage at the Historic Palace Theatre in Lockport, NY, the new CD,
“One in the Spirit”
was released, and is now available for purchase. For more information
